With everything in place I was able to stand back and admire my hard work, and although it was a low budget job I was very please with the results. It passed the MOT without any problems and took to the road once more. During the first few months of use a few minor problems cropped up, I had to replace the rear wheel bearings and replace the oil seals on the gear selector and clutch pushrod, which was only to be expected after the motor had stood for so long. I also started to get a slight oil leak from the head gasket, but I left that until the following winter before stripping down the top and end and replacing the gaskets (having to much fun riding it to take it to bits in the summer). I also took the opportunity to repaint the barrels at the same time. Apart from that no major problems have arose and I am enjoying using the little GS when ever possible.
