Sorry no before pictures, when I got it the GS it was in several boxes that had been stored at the back of a friend garage for about 3 years. My friend Nigel had got the bike to restore and use after he passed his test, however after stripping it down nothing more got done and in time honoured fashion it was relegated to the back of the garage. In the mean time he passed his test and bought a ZXR750. Much debate about the GS’s future regularly took place down the pub after a few beers, but nothing got done in the cold light of day and in the end Nigel very kindly gave me the boxes of parts, as I had no bike at the time and so was the person most likely to do something with it. He was right, however it did take 2 more years and 2 houses moves before I finally got started.
